Hey, hey, hey!

Attention, attention, attention!!! Tourists planning to visit the Republic of Moldova this weekend/ those who are already here/ moldovans that are not yet on holidays/ or anyone else!!!!

This weekend a Super-Duper festival will be organized – LAVENDER FEST 2016!!

Lavender Fest 2016

It is the second edition and I’m really excited to attend it this year… you can see it from this post.

Lets take it from the beginning:

Several years ago, everyone was searching for lavender literally everywhere. I don’t know where this love for lavender came from.. however, I was one of those crazy people in search for it. Actually, I even found a lavender field in Chisinau – a small one.

The second lavender Fest will take place in the same village as the first one –  Cobusca Noua in the Anenii Noi region – it is not far away from Chisinau – 39 km.

The festival will start at 13 o’clock.

The Lavender Fest 2016 celebrates health and beauty that comes from the nature. Here you’ll find:

  • live music provided by the GOLAN band, coming directly from Bucharest
  • massage session (and I bet they are relaxing) in the lavender field, made by the best masseurs
  • gastronomy – sugarless food , vegetarian food
  • Art Lavanda – a handmade contest
  • handmade market
  • activities for kids (children under 12 years don’t pay, so you can’t use them as an excuse to stay at home)
  • for those who don’t have a car, there will be a taxicab (marshrutka) each 30 minutes

What do you need to do:

Dress in white! This is the dress code of the event. Just imagine how beautiful you will look all dressed up in white in the lavender field <3

To enjoy better the time, take a blanket, warm clothes and umbrella (just in case)

DO NOT DESTROY LAVENDER!! Respect other people work!

Have fun! A lot of fun! Even more fun!!! It’s an order 😀 Ow.. just kidding! The Lavender Fest volunteers will take care of you! 😛

P.S. I would advise you to use this opportunity to visit the Sepia village and the Serpeni memorial. You’ll have to ride for another 25 km, but I assure you, you won’t regret!

See you there, I will be the one in white.. ow wait… we will all be dressed like this 😛

Don’t forget to use and to check the hashtag #LavenderFest

See you there! 😉
