If you’re a wine lover, the Republic of Moldova is the paradise you will never want to leave!
We have so many wineries, that it is extremely difficult to decide which of them should be included in the “must visit list”.
For no one is a secret that I’m in love with the good wine! I think this is one of the longest relationships I ever had.
That’s why this Spring, I plan to visit some more wineries. The “spring winery tour” was opened by Château Cojușna. Actually, it is my second time here and I’m encouraging you to visit it.
The Company “MIGDAL-P” was founded in 1995 and since 1997 they promote themselves as Château Cojușna.
Their first wine was Marsala. It was produced from selected grapes of the European varieties – Rkatsiteli, Aligote and Feteasca. The next time, I’ll visit the winery, I will definitely buy a bottle.
Why should you visit it?
First of all, it is easy to reach. It is only 15 km from Chișinău. There is a “marshrutka” – mini bus which will drive you to Cojușna.
Secondly, the touristic complex is very nice. It has a French touch. During the visit you will see:
the charming tasting rooms,
the impressive wine gallery,
the cellars where the wine is stored and matured in barrels
and the department where the divine is produced and stored.
Before the wine tasting, you’ll have the chance to visit the “Château Cojușna” tower. From there you’ll see the Cojușna locality and the vineyards.
Thirdly, the tower has 4 rooms. So, if you’re in the mood, you can spend a romantic weekend at a winery.
There are a few things that can’t be described.. The taste of the wine is one of them. It depends on too many factors: on the people that are around you during the tasting, on your mood in that particular moment…
That’s why, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Thank you to Château Cojușna for the invitation and to all the bloggers for the great time we had!
Cheers dear friends!
Drink more Moldovan wine!! 😛
