Lavandula or more commonly known as lavender is a flower native to the Old World (Europe, Africa, Asia) and there are 39 species of this plant.

Jean Giono said “Lavender is the soul of Provence”, but he didn’t know that in Moldova you can find this flower as well. Only 39 km from Chisinau, in Cobusca Noua village in the Anenii Noi region, you’ll find a small Provence. Follow the lavender smell (or the signs) and you’ll end up in the right place.
